What is true friendship, you ask? Well, it’s not just having someone to hang out with or someone who likes the same things as you do. It’s not just having someone who supports you when you’re feeling down or someone who celebrates with you when you’re feeling good. It’s not just having someone who listens to you or someone who gives you advice.
True friendship is all of that and more. It’s having someone who knows you better than yourself and loves you for who you are, not for what you have. It’s having someone who is loyal, honest, and trustworthy, and who never betrays you or hurts you. It’s having someone who challenges you to grow, and who inspires you to be a better person. It’s having someone who is always there for you, no matter what.
True friendship is rare and precious. It’s not something that you can find easily, or take for granted. It’s something that you have to nurture, and cherish. It’s something that you have to work hard for and fight for. It’s something that you have to be grateful for, and appreciate.
I’m lucky enough to have a few true friends in my life, and I don’t know what I would do without them. They are my family, my soulmates, my partners in crime. They make me laugh, they make me cry, they make me happy. They are the best thing that ever happened to me.
If you have a true friend in your life, don’t let them go. Tell them how much you love them, and how much they mean to you. Show them how much you care, and how much you value them. Support them, encourage them, and respect them. Be there for them, always.
And if you don’t have a true friend in your life yet, don’t worry. You will find one someday if you keep your heart open and your mind positive. You will attract the right people into your life if you are yourself and you are kind. You will discover the joy of true friendship if you are patient and persistent.
True friendship is one of the greatest gifts in life. Don’t miss out on it.
